Point is, I’m mostly just pleased that Respawn are still around to make games featuring robots that surprise and delight us. And if they’re not allowed to do Titanfall 3, Star Wars is at least a rich field to till said robots. Lousy with robots, is Star Wars. But honestly, if anyone is going to make Star Wars games (apart from BioWare, who have spent recent years making Dragon Age 4 and / or collapsing like a magnificent neutron star) then I’d root for Respawn....

Oh, and there’s a gun that fires sofas at people. All things considered, I reckon that’s one of the more mundane parts of this outrageous installation. I’ve always wanted to go to Canada, but this World Update looks like it might be the next best thing. Twelve Canadian cities have been zhuzhed up with photogrammetry. They include Halifax, Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, and Vancouver. There’s also 87 more points of interest, ranging from Nova Scotia’s Seal Island Bridge to Quebec’s impressive Chateau Frontenac and Olympic stadium. It’s possible to fly over the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa too, and you can take off and land at five more airports....

Lucky Emblems Lucky Emblems are introduced after you get the Gummiphone in Twilight Town. There are still lucky Emblems in the areas before this, though you will need to double back to get them. To collect them, you just need to take a photo of them using your Gummiphone. Press the touchpad on PS4, or the Change View button on Xbox One. As you can see in the image below, there will be a box around the emblem, which will turn yellow once you’re at the right angle....

Kynseed is an RPG, and a life sim, and a sandbox. It is also Cooking Mama, and Moonlighter, and a dungeon crawler. It is gentle vibes ASMR relax-and-watch-the-seasons-change, and also crass and knowingly subversive. It does some of these things excellently, while other parts just don’t hold up. You begin your adventure as a child who - together with your sibling - gets adopted by a benevolent uncle and rescued from your life of poverty with The Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe (you know, the one with so many children she didn’t know what to do)....
