Among Us is a hidden role game where players are plonked onto a spaceship, tasked with prepping said ship to leave. Amongst you, however, is at least one imposter who’s job it is to sabotage everything. It’s a bit like Project Winter, or the tabletop game Mafia, and it is: stressful. The devs say they had been making a sequel “because the codebase of Among Us 1 is so outdated and not built to support adding so much new content....

Right now, if you chuck fire at people it’s pretty hard to capitalise on it because you can’t just jump in there with them, plus they’re pretty hard to see beyond the flames....

For context, the original Titanfall has had trouble on PC for years with hackers and ongoing DDOS attacks. In May, Titanfall 2 suffered similarly, causing a number of players and streamers to voice their concerns online, and Respawn told them “help is coming”. Well, for some fans, help wasn’t coming soon enough. As reported by Apex Legends News, on July 4th, hackers managed to advertise the site “SaveTitanfall.com” on a playlist in the lobby in Apex Legends....

That’s what Eivor’s after, by the by, a nice place to settle down after escaping the cold up north. Resources you find while out swinging your axe about can be used to create new buildings at the settlement....

This time, Sophie has fallen into a dream in which none of her friends remember her, though the dreamworld setting doesn’t seem to change the core of what you’re doing. You still gather ingredients, craft things via the “Synthesis” system, and battle stuff. The turn-based battles have become increasingly refined in recent iterations of Atelier and now trigger seamlessly within the game world. I could have sworn that the first Atelier Sophie only came out last year, but that was Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book DX, a definitive edition re-release of the 2015 original....

The DLC stars a new Cleaner, one of Back 4 Blood’s playable characters. He’s called ‘Prophet’ Dan, and he’s meant to be Irish. The preacher has a very Hercule Poirot meets Charles Bronson look, with his bald head and big twirly moustache. He seems to be fond of talking in scripture. Dan’s traits include the team effects of Divine Intervention, which applies a random effect whenever he revives another cleaner, and Protect The Flock, which grants +3 team damage resistance and knockback immunity while reviving....

Update: Larian CEO Swen Vincke declared pretty emphatically at the start of the livestream that Patch 4 is “releasing today” though I’ve since gotten word from Larian that “he goofed.” Patch 4 is actually arriving “soon, when it’s ready.” Druids are the first new class added since BG3’s early access launch and they’ve sure come prepared for the trip. Larian say they have access to more than 30 spells and abilities, including Wild Shape, which allows them to transform into an animal....
